Cyclop is a lamp produced for personal use, it is in the studio and in my houses, at the Morro Fi of Brusi (called Mitja Vida and which no longer exists), at the one of L'Illa, and at the apartment that Oriol Caba had in Barcelona. It has rods that can be of different sizes and materials, bendable as needed. It is dimmable, it takes as many shapes and positions as one wants: table lamp, wall lamp, sconce, hanging or showcase format. It is a lamp reduced to its structure; if we compare it with the house that Tadao Ando made for Kanye West and that U.S. newspapers are calling the Cadáver House, the Cyclop falls within the typology of “Cadáver Lamp.”
