W4 50Y | Object Collection | Camper | Barcelona

In 1999, after two years designing stores for Camper, the brand asked me to create a collection of accessories. Since its founding in 1975, Camper had never produced objects beyond footwear. I designed a series of bags, t-shirts, hats, and other accessories, which were presented that same year at Sala Vinçon in Barcelona under the name Camper World Walking Ware.
The objects, with unconventional typologies, proposed narratives that went beyond their form and materiality.
Following this experience, Camper decided not to pursue accessories, but to focus on other ventures such as eco-friendly fast food (FoodBall, 2004) and hotels (Casa Camper, 2009).
This year, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary, six objects from that original collection have been redesigned, reviving the spirit of Camper WWW: the foot soap, the comb-shoehorn, the sock, the notebook, the hat and the famous cookie with a footprint from Pelotas.

1/ Camper Home Pelotas
Neither shoe nor sock, it redefines space, turning the outside into home.

2/ Camper Cookie (Elaborated by Comida Codac)
Action is embedded in the shape, the form extends as narration

3/ The Camper Years Note Book
The notebook allows you to rewrite the past and plan the future

4/ Barret de Camper
Camper means peasant in mallorcan

5/ Camper Soap
The bon estructures and stabilizes, while humanizing it

6/ Camper Combi (shoehorn+Comb)
Brings head and feet closer than ever
